Golden Grove Dental Placerville has served the Placerville community for over 25 years. Dr. Mathew Delgadillo and Dr. Alice Chun took over the practice in November 2020.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages in our community. We believe in an honest and informative approach when it comes to dentistry. Our friendly staff will listen to your needs and work with you to select the best treatment plan for your situation.

Meet The Dentist
Dr. Mathew Delgadillo
Compassionate • Experienced • ReliableDr. Mathew Delgadillo grew up in the small town of Dinuba, CA. After shadowing his personal dentist, he realized dentistry was the perfect career for him. He went on to complete his undergraduate education at Point Loma Nazarene University and received his doctorate of dental surgery at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. It was there that he met his wife, Dr. Alice Chun.
Dr. Mat has continuously invested in his education in order to provide his patients with the latest and most advanced treatment options. He feels lucky to have chosen a career that he is passionate about and is able to provide excellent care as a general practitioner. Not only is he passionate about dentistry, but patient comfort and compassion are major parts of his practice philosophy. When not in the office, Dr. Mat loves spending time with his family, hiking, enjoying new foods, and settling into a new book.

Dr. Alice Chun
Gravida • Consectetur • NullamDr. Alice Chun received her doctorate at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She is happy to be back in northern California to raise her family. Having grown up in Carmichael, she has fond memories of visiting Lake Tahoe and Apple Hill with her family and church; memories she looks forward to creating with her own family.
Growing up, Dr. Alice developed an interest for hobbies like quilting, scrapbooking, and jewelry making. During her schooling she was drawn to biology and healthcare. This combination of healthcare and working with her hands led her to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Alice prides herself in being a compassionate caregiver as well as a meticulous practitioner. It is with these traits she is able to give her patients the best care possible. When she isn’t in the office, she loves being a mom and spending time with her two young boys, Henry and Jae.
